My recent stay at the Hyatt was a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptional and incredibly accommodating, even recommending places to visit during my stay which I found very considerate and helpful. The breakfast was also great with a wide selection of dishes and gluten-free options. However, I had two complaints. Firstly, the rooms were far too hot for my liking. I understand keeping rooms warm during Swedish winters but it became uncomfortable at times. While I prefer a colder room for sleeping, I realise this may not be everyone’s preference. Secondly, I encountered a few issues. Some items were missing from my room, like an empty mini fridge, and I had to pay extra for fabric slippers. Despite these minor inconveniences, I wouldn’t discourage others from staying at the Hyatt. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance or easily accessible by the nearby train or tram station.

Room was very clean and had everything you need. Coffee, tea, toiletries. Hairdryer, safe. ext everything we needed. Well equipped gym and sauna topped it off. The Breakfast was superb. Hot and cold options and off a fantastic quality. The staff were all round from reception restaurant and housekeeping were superb. Couldn’t fault anything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel was good for the price. The room did not have a window to the outside only to a courtyard which was internal. The walls were very thin and you could hear people in other rooms and every time a door closed. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection however lacked quality and some days it was hard to find a seat. The hotel is in a central location and it is easy to walk everywhere.

The location is the most perfect location I have ever stayed in! It's right next to the bus/coach station (direct to and from the airport for £12 each way), inside the train station, across the way from the trams, across the way from a shopping mall and a 100 food and convenience stores within arms reach! The room was also really nice, lobby was lovely, breakfast was amazing, staff really friendly! I would 100% recommend this hotel!

If you are coming into the city by either train or bus, the hotel's location cannot be beat as it is attached to Gothenburg's Central Station and they offer luggage storage if you arrive before check-in. My room was a bit smaller than other Hyatt Place hotels I have stayed in on the western side of the Atlantic, but this hotel is all about the convenience of its location as food, shops, pharmacy, and transportation are all found within Central Station although downtown Gothenburg is quite walkable. The desk staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. This isn't a 5-star luxury hotel, but it has everything the casual traveler needs. I would stay here again.
