Possum Kingdom Cabin

Overall nice stay, cabin was a little run down but not bad for a fishing trip.

Its okay. Not Fantastic. But not horrible.

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was hot. Lake front. Clean grounds Awesome boat ramp and Nice fishing dock. Nice boat slip. Not so Positive: Holes in the floor Bunk missing rails on ladder. AC struggled to keep us cool Bathroom door didnt close Floors were very dirty. Kids had to wash feet before getting into bed due to black feet from dirty floor. Not enough utensil(3 forks) ,towels,etc. Bed in main room was extremely hard. Had to go buy a sponge for it. This place does the job for a last minute booking. It has so much potential to be a beautiful place if the owner made a few changes. I think its great for a low budget stay with no frills.

Cabin

The property overall was very clean and well maintained the cabin however was a different story. The laminate flooring had soft spots throughout the cabin and the flooring in the bedroom was actually broken in places (to the point you would trip) like there was no subfloor under it. The gray water from the sink and shower looked as though it was leaking on the ground outside. The shower floor felt iffy as if it would cave under weight. The bathroom door does not close at all. The front door does not close properly and the vertical blinds were completely torn up so there was no privacy at night when sleeping on the bunk bed or futon. This cabin should definitely have some repairs before they rent it out again.
