The room was clean and quiet and close to the main lodge and dining. Food options were good. Although you could not see the canyon from our room, it was just a short walk from our room. The deer and antelope would walk right by you and think nothing of it. Would definitely stay here again.

Once the three of us arrived, we did not need to drive. The lodge had free shuttles as well as the Park Service. 5 min walk to Bright Angel Trailhead. Cafeteria and pub are both at the lodge. One pizza fed the three of us. Prices are about 25% higher then Phoenix due to the remoteness. Remember to bring snacks, drinks, a hat, flashlight, and sunscreen for hiking and riding on the shuttles. The Canyon rim is 7000ft with blue skies, making it easy to get sunburned. A sweater is needed since the temperature drops to the 40s during July, at night. Relax & have fun 👍.

Property is a bit dated but it's very convenient if you're exploring the grand canyon. Our place has a small kitchenette which was helpful for food but there is very limited cookware. Shower barely drained so you were standing in dirty water the whole time you showered. For the price the place should've been better. You're paying for convenience

Beautiful setting inside the park. Walking distance to the South Rim trails. Quiet room and very comfortable bed. Food court onsite with plenty of selections, but nothing too fancy. Most of the hot items were lukewarm. Adult beverages not allowed outside of the dining area.

The property was conveniently located to the South rim of the grand canyon - close to shuttle buses and the town. The rooms were a great size, beds were comfortable, clean. Upon arrival it would be good to get more information about shuttle bus service, best places to go for sunset and star gazing.

Great stay

This hotel is in the Grand Canyon property, and for a national park lodge, it’s very nice. There was an outdoor seating area to view wildlife and see the stars. We needed an extra cot and it was quickly furnished. You can’t beat the location- walk outside your room, take a left, and the majesty of the Grand Canyon is just steps away! Would stay there again if we visited the Grand Canyon again.
