Mule deer and elk on the property. Beautiful walk to the overlook by the Hermit's Rest shuttle. Easy access to shuttles.

Cant beat the location. 5 mins from Bright Angel trail and hermits rest bus route. Food court has enough optiona for everyone...picky eaters may say food isnt great, but the pizzas and tacos are quite good.

Lovely facilities - felt very much at home in the mountains. Greeted warmly when checked in. I do wish the food court was better stocked (some items were out in the morning), prices on all items would be helpful. Signage that explains that plates would be cleaned up by staff. Some confusion about what to do when finished.

Nice place to stay in park

Overall, a great place to stay. Very clean, within easy walking distance to the rim, easy parking. My only disappointment was that our room had an outdoor verandah, but we couldn’t really utilise it because we were on the ground floor and right next to the footpath and road, hence no privacy. If we were on the upper floor, it would have been nicer. There also wasn’t a privacy blind over the window so we had to have the curtain closed always to prevent people from seeing inside. Apart from this though, it was very nice.

Wish the food court had more choices. Tea didn’t have more selection than Lipton so we have to go to another place for tea. Refrigerator in room is so small and no microwave was very frustrating. Couldn’t warm our coffee

We had a great stay! There is a gentleman receptionist “with a beard” who greeted us at checkin, he was so welcoming with such a happy personality that it set the tone for the whole trip. The stay was great! The rooms were clean. The pillows were plush and they put on a soft mattress topper, so the bed was comfortable. The dinning hall is great, they offered plenty of options for each meal with kind staff. Overall a great stay!
