It was just OK could have been better with a little effort. When my wife checked the sheets 1st night they had numerous stains, we were told they were bleach stains left from getting rid of other stains. Had no one to change sheets so we had to move to another room, with no help at 10 at night. So we moved from a quiet inner court room to one on a busy,noisy road.Was told we would hear from manager to perhaps compensate us for it but have not heard anything. Breakfast was good & the staff was very quick, pleasant even though they were very busy. The hotel had no smoking signs all around the front door area but didn't enforce them at all. Just felt that with a little effort the place would be very good.

A series of unfortunate events

I booked the suite; originally it was supposed to have a fireplace but they told me the one with the fireplace wasn’t available. No discount or anything provided. Then when I get to the room, the mini bar wasn’t stocked (which is something I utilize) and when I called down to get it stocked, they never came. I then went to use the bathroom and there was no soap. I called down and asked for soap, they said they would be up in a half hour but didn’t come for 2 hours (I had actually forgotten by that point). Then, I ordered food from the restaurant and asked to bill it to the room (it’s a $200 deposit so I figured they could do that); but they totally didn’t; I had to pay for it upon checkout, which isn’t the end of the world, just an extra thing on top of everything. Also, I got stuck in the elevator. Literally stopped for 5 minutes. Scariest 5 minutes ever; I couldn’t tell if we were on an actual floor or suspended in the air. Also, the treadmill in their “gym” was smashed with glass everywhere. Honestly, not the greatest stay. Breakfast was fabulous though.

The hotel could be a little more generous with towels and facecloths. The walk inn shower was nice. However, the outlet in the bathroom was loose and basically held in place by the frame around the mirror. Other than that the room on the 4th floor was quiet. The hotel just needs a little reno.

In serious need of update. Hallway rugs were dirty and fraying. Sofa bed in king suites needs to be cleaned - very dirty and stained, and wood desk and tables acratched and worn.

I have stayed at the padollan quite a few times this is the first time i had buckets sitting in front of my room catching water. And when i was going to checkout me my wife and an older man was in the elevator when it got stuck for at least 40 mins then when it restarted it dropped half a floor and scared everyone and jolted us .

The breakfast was good, usually is. The beds are comfortable, could use different pillows as they felt lumpy. I think some painting would be nice and better lighting in the rooms. Overall a good stay though.
