I stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham in Grande Prairie, and honestly, it was not a good experience. The room felt very outdated, with old furniture and a tired overall look. The “breakfast” was extremely disappointing — I don’t even know where to start. The most frustrating part was that there was no shower gel in the room. When I called the front desk the lady said, “Yeah, sure, I’ll bring it up,” but she showed up with a shampoo bottle and two Dove hand soaps instead. Like seriously — did I ask for shampoo? No. If there’s no shower gel available, just say that instead of showing up with random stuff. Am I supposed to shower with shampoo now? Then she told me they don’t have any shower gel at all. I’ve stayed in many budget hotels, but even they provide basic toiletries. Definitely not worth the price. I expected better standards from a Wyndham property
