The house is probably fine if you stay there in the summer, but we stayed 14-18th November 2025. The house is freezing cold and to further 'improve' the experience, the company that rents the house have decided to limit the temperature the thermostat can be turned up to. In addition all the bedroom radiator valves have been jammed. So the house is cold and your ability to turn up the heating limited by the owner. I did speak to the landlord about this but he was of the opinion that the setting on the thermostat was adequate. If you stay there and it drops below 10 degrees outside you will be wearing a coat in the living room like we were.

family break away

i went with my daughter, had an amazing time! my cousins were at arena uk just 7 mins drive. so had the comfort of being able to relax at the beginning and end of day. Loved the fact had internet and watch all my favourite programmes on Netflix etc. My daughter was able to chill in her own room with tv at the end of a busy day.

We had a good stay at David's place in Grantham. It was a nice bungalow with off street parking in a quiet family residential estate which was safe and easy to find. Nice little enclosed garden to the rear and it was very comfortable. Our host was easy to contact and responsive if we had a query. No issues at all - a good bolthole for a couple of days stay away - thank you...
