Check out the amazing sunrises and if your lucky enough to be here for a full moon, your in for a treat. The house is tucked away from the main road offering tranquil surroundings whilst still only 4 minutes drive from the beautiful Medland Beach. Two bedroom house with a very spacious open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room has been totally renovated in 2021. Unwind and enjoy the views from the deck.

Great stay and accommodating host. Tidy, very clean, good basics provided for kitchen for our stay (oil etc). I would recommend this property. Beds comfortable, good size living area, great wrap around deck. Robyn was fantastic answering lots of questions for us! Things in listing to note:- steep drive, 4WD, no washing machine. As this is located in the bush expect some degree of insects. Close to Medlands beach but not walkable. Steps from the driveway up to the house - no issue but if you are travelling with mobility impaired could be an issue. You can’t have great views down on Medlands without steps and a steep drive! Recommend - Aotea roasting near by for coffee (closes at midday), the caravan there also does a mean focaccia. This home is great!

Great views and facilities

We were wowed by the views when we stepped inside! We had a great stay, property was as advertised and communications with Robyn were easy and clear. Very short drive to the beach. Up a steep driveway and our 4wd rental car was definitely needed. We would certainly stay again.

Heaven on Earth

We were really lucky with the weather and the stars, but in any weather the view, the location and the property itself are fantastic. Definitely need a rugged vehicle to get up the steep driveway.

Brilliant house and overall wonderful experience. The house is beautifully clean and fresh, very spacious living, well equipped kitchen to self cater, views to die for and Robyn is a dream to communicate for. Overall one of the best holiday homes we have ever booked and we've booked many over the years. Would rebook or recommend without hesitation.

Gorgeous place to stay on Great Barrier, inside & out!!!

Medlands Magic is indeed completely magical, and Robyn is a fantastic and thoughtful host. The views are awe-inspiring, and the house is so thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and at really high quality. (I want to get a set of the same bed sheets for my own home now!!). Also, we made this booking on short notice during the holidays, and Robyn went out of her way to help us with all our arrangements - from phone service to a rental car (which we booked with Orla at Claris Rental Cars, who was also so awesome & whom we would highly recommend to future GB visitors!). Thank you so much Robyn for an amazing and magical stay!!!

Fabulous accomodation

Unreal view and unmatched cleanliness!

We had an amazing 4 nights, very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the house and what a treat waking up to that view each morning! The house is well set up with pretty much everything you’d need and the beds are super comfortable. In terms of location it doesn’t get much better - just down the road from the main shops and medlands beach.
