The minute we arrived we were greeted by lovely staff and elephants at the pool. What followed was a once in a lifetime experience. The positives - Beds are super comfy with electric blankets for those cold nights and a fan for the warm days. The food was AMAZING. I LOVED being seated with fellow safari mates and getting to know people from across the world even though we are total introverts. Our guide Leighton was brilliant, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. And the wildlife…. Wow. I still can’t believe we saw so many lions, leopards and cheetahs, not to mention everything else. Being birders we were worried that we would be ignored and never get a moment to identify a bird but Leighton balanced the needs of the guests so well and had an excellent knowledge of all animals. The only downsides… when we arrived we were so hungry but because our flight was delayed we missed the afternoon safari and had to wait until everyone returned before we could access any food - a wait of 2 hours was really tough and no one explained what was happening. Highly recommend explaining the daily itinerary to people on arrival and having snacks available for purchase. Loved the Couples shower but unfortunately not enough hot water for 2 people.

From the moment we arrived, Tommy and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth, friendliness, and professionalism were truly exceptional. The facilities were absolutely amazing – beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay both relaxing and memorable. Our accommodation was wonderful: clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. Whether you’re looking for tranquility or a base for adventure, Sunbird Oasis Lodge delivers on every level. The Best Experience Ever! We Felt Like Royalty! AM Lodge totally blew us away. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are super comfortable, beautifully designed, and tucked away in nature, which made it feel really peaceful and private. The safari was amazing!! It was personalized just for us, and our guides Sbu and Benjamin were so knowledgeable and fun. We got to see so many animals up close, and experienced some amazing sunrises and incredible sunsets. After the safari, we treated ourselves to a massage at the spa, and wow… it was heavenly. Super relaxing and exactly what we needed. The food deserves a huge shout-out too. Chef Anna is incredible! Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Honestly, some of the best food we’ve ever had while traveling. But the real star of the show was the service. Raydene and every single member of the team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We’ve stayed in some great places before, but this was next level. If you’re thinking about booking a stay here…. do it. It’s worth every penny. We’ll never forget this experience!

Everything at Nyati Safari Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable – ours was located right in front of the river, and on the very first day we had elephants, crocodiles, and other wildlife right in front of us. It was like living in a nature documentary! The meals and drinks were delicious! The entire staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The highlight of our stay was definitely the game drives. Kenneth, Peter, Pride, and Freja went above and beyond, always asking which animals we wanted to see and doing everything they could to make it happen. Each game drive ended with either a morning coffee or a sunset drink, always paired with a breathtaking view of the reserve. I truly can’t wait to go back!

Lovely room, breakfast & dinner were included. Safaris were additional. They had a great spa. Gift shop, coffee shop, a couple bars & pools. We would recommend it for anyone.

What a fantastic property right inside the game reserve with daily game drives to catch the big five. The food and service, including impeccable hospitality were the highlight of staying here. It’s a beautiful, luxurious modern property, right across the HDS airport. Highly recommend staying for atleast 2 nights ideally three!
