Not a bad hotel, but it's obviously in need of a thorough cleaning and updated decor. The staff is pleasant and are doing their best to make your stay enjoyable. Company need to invest in upkeep of the property. It's obviously decaying due to consistent maximized occupancy.

Kinston Holiday Inn No thanks

Dirty linen and the poorest breakfast with overcooked and burnt food. I took pictures. Someone was supposed to contact me about the linen and no one ever did. No excuse for dirty linen

I liked everything except the water closet water tank takes long time to refill after use and the room door was not closing properly. I left my room to town and came back in the afternoon half open.

This property was located in a good area for my visit with my family. But, we watched the morning breakfast team sit and play on their phones for 45 minutes when we needed the bar restocked and the front desk, other than sapphire, was pretty rigid and uncaring. There was mold in my shower.

The property’s location was great, however, the maintenance of the property was poor. The lights over bed blinked, the ceiling had water stains and damage. Paint was peeling from the ceiling and from the walls in the bathroom.

Don’t stay here

I was disappointed with this stay. When we checked in, the staff member seemed to be annoyed that we were there and was very rude. Our room itself seemed rather dirty with a broken window shade, flashing bright lights from the AC unit, and everything just seemed really dated. The hotel was also extremely noisy all night and you could not enter or exit without walking through a cloud of cigarette smoke. I would not recommend this property.
