We got at the Hilton Hotel Easton and we were told THERE WAS NO ROOM for us because they got overbooked! Then they sent us to an Aloft Hotel nearby, which belongs to Marriott too but: not the same standards of Hilton, so it was a lower quality, plus VERY noisy! The only thing that was the same was the king size bed, but not as comfy as the Hilton one, where we have stayed a couple of times. We’ve paid for a good quality hotel and was sent to a worst quality hotel! ONE MORE THING: The room at Hilton came in Expedia for US$211 and when I clicked to use my US$177 cash from points with Expedia, and it was automatically changed to a full price: US$388 and then Expedia discount my cash US$177 and I ended up paying more for NOTHING!!! I lost all May points, paid with not discount that was initially showed AND was sent to a worst hotel!!! If EXPEDIA had a name, you guys need to get this right, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Nice ambiance. Room nice and clean. Location great next to Easton. Shower head water weak and low flow. Terrible. Gym functional but of 2 elliptical machines only 1 worked so had to wait. 3 Pelaton cycles and at least one of the 3 didn’t work. I requested an early check in after a red-eye flight and was happy to pay. Front desk said, “no rooms available, check back later”. I requested a phone call if a room did become available. They said “Sure, we’ll call you.” 2 hrs went by and no one called. I returned to desk and saw front desk busy checking in other guests. After I asked again about my room they said, “Yes, your room is available”. No acknowledgement of my request for a call, no apology for not calling. Clearly they weren’t concerned. Overall good though.

Challenge to get into the hotel with the fencing around. While I understand it’s due to safety the could have hates that open for guests at various enterence. Now charges for parking and they did not in years past. Check in time was 4. We did arrive early and our room was not ready. Went back at 4:02 and the room still was not ready. Got two free drinks for room not ready. Went back at 4:35 and room was still not ready. At that this point I requested another room option as we had dinner plans to get ready for. Hotel rooms need updated

This is a perfect location when visiting Columbus as it’s within a walkable distance to great restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and professional. This will definitely be my first choice when visiting Columbus again.
