Our GDL Home

Great location to access metro, shopping and grand plazas. Room was nice size, bed very comfortable and clean. Bar a fun place to congregate and restaurant has a menu.

A very comfortable hotel, excellent service from the staff, and the restaurant is quite decent. Only gripe is the window in my room faced to the inside, and even with the blinds down, light slips in. But this is definitely a place I will consider going back to.

The staff was rude, and the sheets were filthy with stains. I called twice to get them changed and no one came. The “gym” was a set a dumbbells and that was it, and the AC was not on in there and it was over 90 degrees the one water bottle they offered was hot, I couldn’t even finish my workout since I almost passed out. I also ordered room service for my kids since it was late at night when we arrived and they were starving. I called and a woman took my order spaghetti and a pepperoni pizza, as well as a chocolate shake. She took my order and said it would be 25 min, she also asked me if it would be CC or cash I said credit card. After 30 min we get a phone call from a different staff member to retake our order a man, I asked him if it would take long because my kids were really hungry and he very rudely responded “do you want to cancel your order then” I told him no the kids are hungry and he said okay 30 min then, 30 seconds later he calls and says they don’t have chocolate shakes only strawberry and vanilla. I say OK strawberry and hang up. He calls 10 seconds later and says sorry we only have vanilla so I say OK. Vanilla is fine finally after 40 minutes they deliver our food. I’m trying to pay with my AMEX and they tell me they don’t take it even though over the phone. They say they did. I get another card to pay them and we take a bite of the spaghetti and the noodles are uncooked. I will not be staying there again.

I had a fabulous stay at Hotel Real Maestranza in Guadalajara! The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night every time. I really appreciated how accessible the hotel was—renting a wheelchair was easy, and parking was super convenient with direct elevator access.
