This is a beautiful hotel, we have lived in Costa Rica for 23 years and this is the first time we have stayed here. It is gorgeous, the staff are exceptional and the rooms are comfortable, quiet and aesthetically beautiful. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Breakfast was wonderful, staff were friendly & helpful, room was clean & bed was very comfortable. Building was clean, safe & decorated nicely. The only complaint was that the night cleaning staff were cleaning the pool and a huge room until 2:30am. It sounded like they were ramming metal on the walls, dumping massive buckets of water down the walls outside our room, and making a racket that kept us awake until 2:30am. After a long flight to San Jose from Alberta, Canada, we were extremely exhausted the next day & did not feel rested at all. We called the front desk to ask them to have the night staff stop the noise, but we were told “it sounds like they are done now”. The noise continued for a few more minutes then finally stopped. Other than that it was a nice hotel. We stayed in room 606.

The hotel itself was wonderful, the surrounding area esthetics, not so good. You're right in front of the drop off/pick up bus parking for what seems to be the whole market area workers, so you will hear that commotion pretty much all day and night if you decide to stay in your room (we didn't). Hotel is perfectly situated to all the major attractions to see in San Jose, which won't take long. The staff was magnificent.

Great little hotel!

The room and bathroom were immaculate and roomy. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel restaurant up on the 4th floor looking out over the city. We ate in the lovely outdoor dining area surrounded by bougainvilleas. It was the best good of our trip to Costa Rica. The breakfast buffet the next morning was very nice with many options and excellent service.

Staff was very welcoming, room was nice, spacious, and clean. The restaurant was lovely, great drinks and the cooks really know how to grill a steak. When we checked out, the receptionist provided additional recommendations for our trip to the Caribe. If you like spicy food, the chilera condiment is for you!

I love the hotel.The lobby is amazing ! The food is excellent at the restaurant. Bed comfortable. The welcome snacks in the bedroom is the icing on the cake.
