The "tourist area" of Gulf Shores is 13 miles to the east where you will find all of the typical beach town experiences such as mini golf, go kart track, restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir shops, festivals, etc. Other area attractions within day driving distance include Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, The Park at OWA, The Wharf and shopping at Foley Tanger Outlets.
