The Space:

Valley Lodge 40, a reverse-level lodge, consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, and a living/dining room with TV, and seating for six guests. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, double, and twin serviced by a shower room. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a balcony with furniture and off-road parking available. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Within 2 miles you will find a shop and 0.9 miles a pub. Sorry, no smoking. All of this awaits at Valley Lodge 40. We are thrilled to announce that we have upgraded our leisure facility access for all our guests! During your stay, you will enjoy complimentary access to the Meadowlands Leisure Club in Tavistock. Whether you are looking for a serious workout or family fun, the Meadowlands pool area has something for everyone. It features a 25-metre main pool and a dedicated teaching pool. For those looking for more than just a swim, it also boasts a flume slide, river rapids, and interactive water fountains. The Neighborhood:

Just over the Border into Scotland, St Abbs is a picturesque fishing village with a delightful harbour and fishermen's cottages hugging the hillside, situated on a beautiful stretch of Berwickshire coastline. Diving can be enjoyed from the harbour, while the nearby St Abb's Head National Nature Reserve has a rich variety of wildlife and is a paradise for birdwatchers! An ideal location for walks - the Cheviots, Scottish Borders and the spectacular coastline all offer excellent walking. There is a safe, sandy beach 3 miles away in nearby Coldingham, which is very popular with surfers. The historic fortified Border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, with shops, a museum and a castle, is nearby, and is well worth a visit. Holy Island, the Farne Islands, the attractive seaside villages of Craster, Eyemouth and Seahouses, and Edinburgh, capital city of Scotland, are all within touring distance.
