The lake is known for great swimming, fishing and boating. The lake is a 400 acre lake with two islands. Sandbars are available near the islands for docking boats and swimming. Mehl Lake is accessible via an inlet by small boats. The lake is stocked with walleye, though bass and smaller pan fish are abundant. Boat launch is close by. Less than a mile from the house is a snowmobile and four-wheeling trail. Twenty minutes to Marquette and 60 minutes to Pictured Rocks. Pet Friendly!
