Clean, good size room with good balcony overlooking the swimming pools and great view over Ha Long Bay towards the World Heritage Site 1800 limestone humps in the bay. Service was excellent and the hotel was beautiful with marble throughout, loveely statues and fountains and beaiutifully kept extensive gardens and trees. Indoor swimming pool also provided and sauna, steam room jacuzzi. Highly recommended.

For a 5 star premium hotel it seriously underperformed. Good food although centred around a buffet style which felt a bit conveyerbelt with staff not collecting dirty plates and very repetitive roads day. All entries into restaurants was by facial scan which just felt so impersonal like a controlled cafe. Bar had ran out of rum (all week) so couldn’t make most of their signature cocktails, and not many premium spirits and struggled to make normal cocktails. More all-inclusive quality. Food left round the pool and not collected for hours and lack of sunbeds (about 30 total for whole area). inside bar which wouldn’t serve us one night after 10:40 as closing at 11, and ordering pricey and not even nuts or something to align with any other 5* and then switch lights and ambient music off on you when we sitting there at 11:10 but no where else to sit. There was a typhoon warning whilst we were there and cancelled boats. Only way we even knew was after a local taxi driver told us and we enquired at reception and they told us last boat home was 2pm. Shame as the location and hotel its self and location and looks like they focus attention on weddings rather than individual guests. It is beautiful and just feels poorly managed/staff attitude compared to other hotels including the second hotel we moved to in Hanoi which is far superior. Would we stay again, yes as low cost in low season but would think twice if they price like other 5*s elsewhere we had been.

Amazing place overall. Some facilities are a bit worn out such as stand lamps, fridge in our room wasn't working, and TV needs some proper reset as some apps doesn't properly install anymore. Despite all those, the big question is would we come back again? Definitely, my son had fun and loved every other areas it offers. The office room is also very quiet and has good net speed if you plan to do some work just incase. It has a souvenir store which sells family friendly items, and also offers over counter medicines on the clinic. However if you need very specific needs or items you may need to travel outside the island.

We stayed 5 nights in July, which we learned is the peak summer season for families to take a vacation, hence there were a lot of children around with no adult pools. The facilities were poor. The property was probably build to a high Vietnamese standard, but shortcuts were taken and it was not up to Western standard. A bathroom shaver mirror was bent by a previous guest and when I asked for it to be replaced, it was just bent straight. Not the standard you expect from a supposed 5 star place. The pool was good, MT the barman was great and the F&B Director David was wonderful to speak to. All in all we would not return, given comparable service and quality that you can receive of 5 star other properties in SE Asia.

Beautiful resort on a small island with well taken care gardens, beach and swimming pools. The breakfast buffet was impressive with so many options available. Most of the service staff are lovely and so helpful, especially staff in the bars/restaurants and the staff managing luggages to and from the resort island. My room was comfortable with partial pool view. There are room for improvements with the reception area when guests arrive. I waited for 15 mins, while 3 out of the 5 staff behind the counter seemed to be doing other things than serving guests. When I finally was served, I was told those staff were not “reception staff”. There was also no queue and people just push in. I saw the same crowd at the reception when I left, which clearly show they are in serious need of more reception staff. The food at the restaurant was also incredibly expensive, at least 5 times higher compared to food outside the resort. If food prices were more reasonable, there maybe more guests having dinner in the resort rather than going back to land for dinner.

Fabulous!

Wonderful resort with breathtaking view from our room. Room is very clean, nice and comfortable. The staffs are very attentive, polite and helpful. Got our breakfast coffee made by Mr. Huy Thắng, very appreciate with the care by the staffs here. We love here so much that we extended our stay for another 2 days. The only thing need to be improved is the restaurant here is a little pricey for dinner and didn’t have much choices, had to go out for dinner. Other than that, we are really love this resort. Will come back again soon.
