There are numerous walking and cycling routes to explore, taking in the stunning scenery of the surrounding area, from exploring the towns' many independent shops and cafes to strolling along the river and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. There is a traditional country pub with family-friendly atmosphere. It is a dog-friendly pub that serves home-cooked food, real ales and has a private garden (2.5 miles).
