Here's the good:
The location to the waterfront is great, about a 10 to 15-minute walk.
The suite was very clean.
The self-check-in was convenient.
Here is the bad:
Pretty sure the queen bed isn't a real queen, it was very small.
There is no parking.
Here is the worst:
It is extremely noisy! Not sure how it is for the 3rd floor and below, but our suite was on the 4th, directly across from the rooftop bar that Cameo partners with. And when I say right across, I mean I could look out our living room window and virtually lip-read the conversations happening out there. And it would have to be lip-reading, as the music is blaring far too loud for anyone to actually hear anything....till 2:30 in the morning.
Along with the noisy neighbours outside the building, you'll enjoy the noisy ones in the building too with the thin walls and ceiling.
All in all, if you're in Halifax to take in the nightlife and want to be in the action or can sleep through a full-blown concert less than 10 feet from you, it's perfect.
If you are a light sleeper or have children with you, you may want to consider elsewhere.
