Nice hotel for the area though location was remote and we received a ground floor room that did the not the patio area available with other rooms despite the price we paid. Restaurant was good with a nice selection of dishes but with spotty service from wait staff. Property also had a pool and jacuzzis which were not able to use because of large crowd of adults and children.

We stay in a cabin for 3 nights, very quiet and private area. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the ac worked excellent. The grounds were beautiful but the trails to hike around were all overgrown in. Washer toss and corn hold and golf frisbee was set up but there was no disk, washers or bean bags. Bring your own. The pool was warm however needs a good cleaning, the hot tubs worked great! Restaurant for our Celebes dinner was fantastic even with the wedding reception taking place in the same area it wasn’t too noisy and we were able to enjoy our meal. Overall the stay was very enjoyable, and the location was a quick hope over to Wolfville.

Dining room staff was wonderful. Food was absolutely scrumptious! My compliments to the chef. I wouldn't have expected this somewhat dated property right off the highway to have excellent Moroccan Lamb Shank, Rib Eye Steak, Salmon Tartare, and fresh Oysters. Also enjoyed a very good Therapeutic Massage in the Spa. AND not to be overlooked is the sun deck. Lovely view, comfy furniture, and restaurant service if desired.

This is basically a motel, but with an excelle nt dining room and a pool with a lovely patio I found the room was extremely expensive at $275 ++++ tax, and other fees. This is what i would pay in Montreal for a room, not in rural Nova Scotia

This property is beautiful. The main lobby is nice with welcoming staff at reception. We went swimming twice in the pool and used the hot tubs. Everything was clean. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was quite nice, I like that it was removed from the main building and in nature. The restaurant is beautiful. We ate breakfast there and enjoyed the food (kids French toast and eggs and bacon/sausage). My only negative is we booked a room with 2 queen beds only to find 2 double beds. Such a small detail and it didn’t ruin our stay at all. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean and set up beautifully. The glass is single pane so you can hear everything outside. Neighbours were quiet when we stayed so it wasn’t an issue. Pool is nice and patio deck is beautiful and great view. We had a fantastic breakfast at the hotel which was gorgeous. Hotel is only driving distance into Wolfville not walking so if that is something important to you then not a great option. Staff were terrific at check in and out.
