PROs: This hotel is well situated near the boardwalk- easily walkable to many local atrractions and restaurants. There is a small grocery store next to the hotel where you can pick up food and drink for your room. Staff were pleasant and the bartender makes a fabulous Old Fashioned. CONs: My room had a bottle of used hair conditioner in it at.check-in, and I noted the night tables could use a good wipe down with a damp rag...there were ring marks and fingerprints that made them appear dirty. Stronger attention to detail when cleaning rooms would be recommended. I would also suggest local hotels offer free bottled water (this one does not). The taste/quality of the tap water in Halifax is not ideal.

The front house staff were friendly, particularly Adeep. The location of the hotel and size of room was great. However, the rooms were quite outdated and lacked cleanliness. The AC unit was quite loud which made it difficult to sleep with it on, the curtains had noticeable stains, stains on overall furniture, etc.

The rates for this hotel are very high for what the hotel is. GPS brings you to the back alley parking lot and there are no signs for entrance, you have to walk around to the front of the building. The parking is horrible!
