I thought I was renting suite with a a king size bed. Instead I got a small room with a king size bed, with a window in the corner of the room directly across from a building of offices. We kept the curtain closed but the room was poorly lit. We had 1 swivel chair for furniture to sit on. I immediately went down to the desk and asked for another room. They said there were no other rooms. I said I wasn’t trying to be fussy. I would take any room that had a place for a couple to sit like even 1 love seat. I would even pay to get an upgrade even though I thought I had paid enough and rented a suite. We spent 4 days in Halifax avoiding our crappy room. It was so disappointing. Other minor issues like not restocking our coffee one day or leaving a wet face cloth on the floor were very minor compared to how disappointed we were with our room. We will not be staying at a Hilton suites hotel again. Ever

Building something across the street. There is a gigantic hole across the street with gigantic equipment breaking rock and pounding in pilings starting at 7 am. Other than that the hotel was fine.

Very convenient to downtown Halifax and the Boardwalk and a wealth of dining options. In-house restaurant is mediocre. The free wifi is not great, and bottled water is not included.

Positive - Steven at front desk was wonderful. Restaurant staff were amazing, particularly Queenel. Negative - Always had to wait approximately 10 minutes for car. Housekeeping was mediocre. Dusty. Left the room temperature very cold and took a long time to get comfortable. Always had to go to front desk for coffee packets.

The Secret’s Out!

Loved my room here and I seriously could have just stayed in it looking out the window at the Harbour the whole time if there weren’t so many great things to do close by! The hotel is just two blocks from the Harbour walk and many restaurants, the ferry, and the Maritime Museum. You can also walk out the other direction to a lot of interesting places. Inside the hotel is a nice restaurant, bar, and even a laundry room! The service was great as well. I’m already dreaming about my next visit!
