We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu in Hamburg. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and get around. I ordered a stay for three. Two adults one kid (9 years old). An hour before checkin I get a message that there isn’t a bed for everyone they expect all kids under 12 to sleep in the same bed as the adults. We could get a bed but that would be 50€ more. If they had written at the time they confirmed the confirmation I would have found another hotel. Which is probably very they write. The first room we got smelled horrible. We got a new room, it wasn’t super clean but didn’t smell. I was tired at gave up talking to hotel. If your are a family going to Hamburg find another hotel :)

Reliable Comfort with a Few Room for Improvements

Radisson Blu is always our top choice for family vacations. The service is consistently excellent, with great locations, comfortable beds, and generous room sizes. This time, the room felt a bit smaller than usual, but the location more than made up for it—right next to Planten un Blomen Park, with easy access to public transport and the beautiful fountain show just a short walk away. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a solid buffet and an à la carte menu with tasty options. The in-room comfort was great overall, though we did notice some noise from housekeeping in the corridor. One suggestion: adding a blackout blind in the bathroom could help avoid disturbing others in the room during nighttime use. That’s a beautiful moment to capture in a review, Osama—it really shows the human side of hospitality. Here’s a refined version under 250 characters that keeps the warmth and sincerity: Staff were exceptional—particularly Muhammad Khan went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even helping us calm our toddler during checkout. Thoughtful, kind, and always smiling. Truly impressive care throughout our stay.

Great stay

The rooms are great. View is great. Many good places to dine nearby. Train station right by the hotel. If possible take train to Hamburg. If by car, park the car by the hotel and take public transportation around the city. The breakfast buffet is a must have. It is superb.
