Room given not room type reserved, told that all the rooms the same despite the website showing differently. Shower didn't work until it was hit, No fan and room was very hot, paper thin walls, it felt like people were coming into the room when walking past in the corridor. Overall a run down, tired hotel.

Receptionist on arrival not helpful in regards to us believing we had booked for Bed and breakfast . He said breafast not included and made no attempt to resolve just said you will need to ask at restaurant in morning if the can fit you in.

Make sure you don’t get room No.10

We were put in room 10 on the ground floor, room was clean enough though dated. Bed was lumpy and the room obviously had water tank behind the wardrobe as all night long you heard the water running every time a tap was turned on or toilet flushed couldn’t wait to get home for a decent sleep.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a wedding nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Had a very tasty meal on Friday night. Good choice at breakfast. Hotel feels quite tired and in great need of renovation. No blackout curtains in our room, and quite a lot of road noise (which can’t be avoided), so I’d suggest taking ear plugs. Otherwise handy for Hamilton and surrounding area. Good parking on site.

The room was not what we expected it had a disabled toilet food stuff on carpet and a cupboard as a wardrobe which did not hold our belongings no place for shoes and the only mirror in room was behind the clothes in that cupboard no teaspoon and no plug for sink very disappointed
