The Dream Vintage Surf Cottage is indeed the stuff of dreams. The house is simple, very well-organized and airy with touches of beauty and luxury throughout. The greatest luxury is surely its proximity to Pine Trees – this fantastic surf spot is just steps away from the house. We witnessed a local surf competition there – very cool and a good motivation to get better ourselves! We loved the luxury of the sage-colored linen beddings and the soft and plentiful Onsen towels, there is a Vitamix for tasty fruit smoothies, and a rice cooker for making dinners easy. The galley kitchen is highly functional for even serious cooking with pretty silverware and crockery. It is hard to imagine beating the beauty of the pale-yellow orchids near the wonderful outdoor shower that made my husband exclaim that future vacation destinations better have one. Nobody showered inside after experiencing it. And of course, there is the gorgeous mountain view from the generous dining table in the kitchen, warmly illuminated by its great lamp by night.The spacious and private garden is full of flowers. A storage shed holds beach chairs, beach umbrellas and boogie boards. Everything that one could possibly hope for – this place offers it all in a place of breathtaking beauty. Many thanks to Daniel for his attentive and timely communications with us. The property was expertly managed with easy accessibility, garbage disposal and without any onerous check-out requests. We are very grateful!

The Dream Vintage Surf Cottage was just what we (myself, husband, 11 yo son and 13 yo daughter) were looking for. It was clean, cozy and well-decorated and the location can't be beat. You can hear the ocean from the house and it's hardly a block from the beach. I'm already missing my morning walks along the ocean. The walk to town is also so quick and easy with gorgeous views! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This house was perfect. Living the Hanalei life. Walk to the beach in less than two minutes. Love the lani/front porch. Well stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, etc. Walked to dinner in town, shopping etc.We did not want to leave. Daniel the host was awesome. We will definitely be back.

The perfect home base on the north shore for two of us. A short walk to the beach and bikeable and walkable into town. Host made everything easy and seamless and the place came fully stocked with all of the gear we needed to enjoy the beach. Outdoor shower was great. We’ll be back!
