We stayed here for a week while visiting our son who is stationed in the coastguard nearby. The location was great for us. The house is secluded and quiet. You are surrounded by beautiful nature. Wasn’t sure how the solar situation would work, but found it didn’t affect anything at all. Very seamless. The house itself is very nice, bright ,modern and clean. Very high tech for us. FANCY toilets! Nice TV, great washer & dryer. Outside grill was handy. The owner was super responsive which was appreciated when the temperature dropped significantly and we needed heat!The upstairs bathroom has no window coverings- so no privacy while bathing. It’s also not really a shower- but a tub with shower head. European style. If you want to stand while you shower, there’s a proper shower downstairs. Downstairs bathroom has no mirror. The kitchen has a French press coffee pot, which was new to us, but we learned something new and enjoyed delicious coffee every morning. Overall, a wonderful stay and host!
