Very convenient, right central strip area , easy access to the beach , restaurants and boat launch. Good views of the lake and the action, but quiet as well , rooms updated enough 👍 Managed very well

We were given a very warm welcome by Arash (manager). He checked on us every time he saw us asking if we had what we needed. The property itself was conveniently located and you can walk everywhere with lots of choices of restaurants. The studio room was very spacious and had a small balcony with views of the lake. You couldn’t see the lake when sitting on the couch. The air conditioning was appreciated but it needs to be updated to a heat pump as it was very loud. When it wasn’t on, I could hear the entire conversation of our neighbours who were sitting on their balcony and their voices carried through the air conditioning unit. Sounding like they were in the room with us. We could hear people in the hallways and in the other rooms with doors slamming closed frequently. Parking is an issue! There are only 12 spots. My husband came back from racing his motorbike and all the spots were taken except for the spot near room 102 which apparently is reserved for that room as we were asked to move. Holly called me and told me we couldn’t park there, so we had to park around the back of the building which was also full but she asked the guy selling ice cream to move his vehicle. My husband had to haul all of his gear (making 2 trips) up the flight is stairs into the room. No one parked in this spot the entire time we were there!! Overall, the parking is frustrating and the walls are thin but the room is spacious, updated and convenient.

We enjoyed our stay. I know the Grand Motel is still under renovation but our room was clean, quiet, great bed and bathroom. It was very convenient to our dragonboat regatta and we were able to leave the car all day - thank you! One suggestion would be to have tables and chairs on the upper deck so guests could sit out and have a picnic or happy hour. It’s the best view of the lake. We would definitely recommend.

Good Choice

This Studio room was indeed small but suitable for one person. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Good parking available. Being on the ground floor, it was noisy at times but quiet after 10PM. The manager was friendly and helpful. It was a stretch to say it had a beach view. It was right in the heart of the area with close access to the water, restaurant and shops.

There was no clear information provided about a check-in cutoff time, which made the process really stressful—especially with traffic and staff insisting on a 6:30 PM cutoff. Thankfully, they were willing to work with us. We also found a large silverfish bug as soon as we entered the room. On the plus side, the location is convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and the lake.

It was a nice stay

It was comfortable stay and good room location fronting the beach, more relaxing, but it's nice if there'll chairs and table at the patio where we can enjoy and relax, watch the sunset. Also I recommend if they have a full mirror in the unit.

The clerk that checked us in was good but she was also rude. It's the first motel we've stayed at that gives you a certain time frame to check in. So according to the small window of check in (3pm to 6pm) we were late. Just as we arrived the clerk was leaving but turned around and checked us in but told us that she was annoyed at us. The pillows were like sleeping on rocks. The remote control for the tv didn't work. The remote control for air conditioning didn't work. No hand lotion or complimentary water bottles. This motel is way over priced.

THE place to stay at Harrison Hot Springs.

What a terrific find. An excellent location in Harrison and across the road to the beach. The manager Dee was fantastic and made us both feel so very welcome there. I felt very safe and secure and although it was a little pricier than other “motel” style places it was a definite value for money. The rooms are excellent, clean and comfy. My big complaint was I didn’t stay long enough!

I usually don’t expect much from a motel, but this was the loveliest one I’ve ever stayed in! I have to start with the room. It must’ve been recently renovated because everything felt new and contemporary. The flooring was warm and inviting (even in the hallway which is rare for motels), the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional - complete with a full tub and modern decor. Everything was so clean! The room had a mini fridge, good sized TV and a sweet balcony facing the lake and the mountains. The only thing missing was a dresser for unpacking my clothes, but it was a small detail in light of everything else. The front desk staff were very kind, even offering my boyfriend and I free gelato next door as it was my 50th birthday! Nice touch. We had a small spill on the duvet upon arrival, and the lady came up with new covers and a very positive attitude. Major bonus points for that! The property is walking distance to everything, and very convenient for seeing concerts at the neighbouring Memorial Hall. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and right across the street from the Lagoon. All in all, for a birthday stay, the Harrison Grand was a perfect and affordable location. I highly recommend it!
