A beautiful and quiet place to stay. Clean throughout inside and out, waking up to lovely little fires downstairs with lights in windows and frosty trees out side was elegance in itself. The staff are friendly , polite and reguarly check in, not only was they helpful if you was unsure but they always had a smile. The food was fresh and full of flavour, the menu choices were perfect offering guests the best of harrgote. We had dinner and breakfast both the service and the food has made us want to come back again with the children to share our experince with them. Our stay was abouve and beyond any place we've stayed before the elegence, vibe of the inn and amazing staff means well deffintley be coming to stay again.

I have stayed here before and really liked it However this time we checked in and then had to walk 100 yards out side in the freezing cold to what turned out to be a large wooden hut, now it would not have been a problem if I’d known as I wouldn’t have stayed, but to find out on arrival was annoying. It was cold but it could have been pouring down and that would definitely have been an issue. You then have to walk for your meal and back again then again in the morning!! I haven’t got the best mobility and I also found it really annoying getting wrapped up for a 100 yards!! The however are very good and breakfast was excellent I wouldn’t stay again just in case I’m in the hut, albeit a nice hut

A lovely place to eat and stay

A lovely pub with fab rooms. Stayed in one of the lodge rooms which were gorgeous! All mod cons, clean, well-presented and a great bonus of a balcony. Had our evening meal in the pub which was delicious! Highly recommend the bbq platter.
