Get away and play at this spacious cabin. Sip your morning coffee on the large deck as the sun rises through the trees. By day, swim, explore nearby hiking trails, play tennis or golf at The Woods facilities, or lounge while the kids play in the fenced yard. As the sun sets, dine outdoors on the picnic table, or indoors on the large dining room table. At night, retire to the detached game shed for a nightcap or gather around the fire while you cherish the serenity and search the sky for Orion.

The cabin can accommodate 12 guests. There are two king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, a bunk room that sleeps 4, and a comfortable full-sized futon that sleeps 2 in the common area outside the bedrooms. There are 2 full bathrooms with dual shower heads (1 with a bath) and a half bathroom with a washer/dryer. The bedrooms do no have an attached bathroom.

The cabin has a split-level layout with 3 steps leading up to the king and queens bedrooms, as well as the room with the desk and futon. The bunk bedroom, bathrooms and rest of living area are located on the same main level.

~ Food options: The Woods Clubhouse Grille & Pub is the only restaurant within a few minutes of the cabin though Berkley Springs and Martinsburg offer a variety of dining options within a ½ hour drive. You can also take advantage of the cabin’s well appointed kitchen. Martin’s supermarket is well stocked and only about 17 minutes away.

This house was perfect for our large family! There was plenty of living space, and the wraparound deck overlooking the forest made the outdoors truly beautiful. It was such a restful and peaceful getaway.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the play closet full of books and board games was a wonderful touch. We especially appreciated the game shed—it provided an extra space to play, especially on rainy days.We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to relax, recharge, and escape the city.

Perfect Getaway

Orion's Getaway was a perfect home for our family. The amenities in the house and the resort were plentiful. The setup of the house was perfect. The location of the den allowed the teens to watch movies into the night while the younger kids and adults could sleep without hearing the noise. Anna was very responsive to all communication. Highly recommend!

Woods getaway

Perfect host. The house was clean and well stocked with the basics (paper towels, toilet paper, spices, etc). We had one issue arise during our stay and the host was very responsive and handled the the issue. We brought our 9 children ages 16yr-1yr and it was a safe and fun environment for us all. Will definitely go back.

Great place

We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the “cabin”. It was well kept and stocked very well. We were able to pull off a huge Thanksgiving dinner with the stocked kitchen. I would suggest a leaf blower for future guests! Sure are a lot of leaves! We had a great time and would highly recommend this property to future guests. Thanks Anna, it was great!!!

Beautiful and Convenient Weekend at The Woods!

Our family and I absolutely loved our stay in early October! This cabin / house has absolutely everything one might need without the clutter! The linens and towels were very nice and everything was spotless on arrival. We will be sure to stay at Orion’s Place again on our next trip to WV!

Great host and great house

Everything you need is in the house. The layout was just right. My kids loved the game room and it avoided the noise in the main house. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are comfortable! Hopefully we can return again soon!

Guys weekend

Rented this property for a guys weekend and it was perfect. Everything was clean and well stocked. The interior was great, even larger than I expected and the driveway was perfect to set up lawn games which was nice since you have the game shed right there also. Anna was great, plenty of communication so we knew what to expect. She also sent a document with a ton of information on the house and community as well as the surrounding area which was helpful for planning ahead. We had a great time, I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Sanctuary

This house located in The Woods is a beautiful inviting place. The house is clean, very well stocked, and has tons of space even for multiple families to come together. The location is quiet but had plenty to do from outdoor hiking, to use of the resort ( I recommend you getting additional passes worth it), and even stocked with plenty of family games. It was awesome to see so many of our favorites there. The beds were very comfortable and well decorated. The game shed was an extra perk and gave more options when the weather wasn’t quite cooperating. The outdoor fire features gave the place where we could come together and “wine” down. I came here for settling an estate of my parents and all my siblings came together we were able to laugh, cry and celebrate at this location far better than anywhere I could think of. This house was a true blessing for our family and I believe it could be for any that come together in this home. What a wonderful special home you truly have.
