A lovely welcome and staff helped with my bag to my room. The bed was so uncomfortable and so soft. Then the shower head had broken so I had to hold the shower head...then....water pressure was so low and then hardly any water! Not great at 6.15am and a day before work. Waiting to hear from the hotel

My stay at the Wateemill was very pleasant and my room (I booked superior) was really lovely, comfortable and very quiet. Unfortunately, the outside of the building lets it down and my initial thought on arrival was that I’d made a bad mistake however it’s a great place to stay, and felt very safe. The pub over the road (The White Horse) offers a fab menu choice and has a great atmosphere. Plus guests from Watermill get 10% off! Alesha who was on reception was absolutely amazing and so very helpful, she really made every guest feel welcome. My only main complaint would be the pressure of the water in the shower… Would I stay again?? yes definitely.

Not really worth the price paid.

The whole motel had a very damp musty smell about it probably due to the fact it was built over a river. The shower head was loose and dropped and we had to jury rig a method to keep it up whilst showering. Many of the power outlets didn't work.

Wonderful Watermill

Lovely stay, staff friendly and welcoming. Good knowledge of area and gave good advice on local walks. 10% off voucher given for pub across the road, which was excellent, and breakfast was lovely. Nothing too much trouble for staff and even had our case taken to our room (first time in a long time).

Nice stay but shower was lacking.

Whilst the room showed signs that it had recently refurbished, the bed was comfortable, room was a nice size. The water pressure for the shower was lacking, the rain shower was more like drizzle. Overall an enjoyable stay, staff were friendly and accommodating, the setting was lovely and breakfast was plentiful.

Very quiet, easy parking , nice staff, a little bit run down feeling. we booked an air conditioned room but were told on arrival that only some rooms were air conditioned and ours wasn’t one of them. However they did agree to change us to an air conditioned one. But the web site details should be made clear.
