Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay.

Convenient hotel close to Heraklion Airport

Very welcoming hotel about 5-10 minutes from Heraklion Airport. As our flight arrived around midnight we were very pleased to arrive at the hotel and were warmly received by at the hotel. We were able to enjoy a drink outside on the terrace. Hotel had nice facilities garden, terrace and swimming pool (didn’t use as one night stay). Our room was okay with TV and WiFi. A balcony but not much of a view (looked like there were better rooms as only an overnight stay didn’t bother us). Breakfast okay I particularly enjoyed the fruit. Hotel is very useful for the airport and there is a bus stop outside for Heraklion. Beaches are an easy walk.

Great location near the Heraklion airport and walking distance to public beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, and bakery. We stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks and used it as a base to discover the island of Crete. The views of the sea and the orientation of the building provide for beautiful viewing of sunrises and sunsets. The sight of the planes landing and taking off every few minutes at the Heraklion airport is a memorable experiance by itself.The pool is outstanding, the breakfast is homemade and exceptional. The premises are very clean and parking is ample by the hotel. Airline personnel are using the hotel as a layover between flights. Great wifi throughout the hotel. The staff are courteous, friendly, and provide customer oriented experience. We will definitely stay at the hotel again in future visits to the island.

About 6kms from city centre, no attractions nearby. Bus stop to go to Heraklion centre is opposite the property. Breakfast is provided, but no restaurant thereafter. There's only a small family run restaurant nearby for dinner. Front desk staff are not very helpful in planning local sightseeing, but they are very courteous in guiding and arranging taxis. Breakfast is good. Room is fairly spacious and clean. Close to the airport, needs only 10-15 minutes to reach.

Very easy check-in and welcoming staff! Great hosts in the morning and evening! And they would ask if you had explored their wonderful beautiful city and seen the sights! Awesome hotel stay! Great room with a view! Awesome pool. Breakfast buffet had different options every single day! Very close to the Taverna Kphtiko Kona, about a 2 min walk from the hotel. Close to the Market which opens at 6am. Very close to the airport! Great view from the balcony to the beach! 7 minute walk to the beach. Also close to the motorway! Anemos restaurant was nearby, about a 7 minute walk. And car rental location or dune buggys for rent also nearby! Totally awesome stay at this hotel.

This hotel has exceeded every expectation. It was the cheapest but the hotel was fabulous. It was super clean. The pool was crystal clear and the outdoors was beautifully landscaped and immaculate. There was even table tennis provided outside. The rooms also came with a hair dryer. Everything about our stay was spectacular. the staff was very helpful and friendly and changed my room to a different one with no issues. Deserves 10 stars
