Central Herrerias is not exactly overflowing with hotel options, but you'll find the Hotel Noray and Don Pablo are just a short drive away.

The Mirador de la Franca can be found 12 kilometres from the main part of Herrerias. Another hotel is the Abba Comillas Golf Hotel, which is located 18 kilometres away. Two more hotel options include the Rusticae Casona D'Alevia and the Hotel Comillas.

After you have got a feel for Herrerias, why not explore a bit further afield? The Cantabria vicinity has plenty of other things to see. Admire Cantabria's beaches and coastal plains. In addition you could explore a few of the region's ruins. Or join the locals in the mountain biking and mountain climbing while you are here.

Don't blow through before you have checked out the Caves of Altamira and Museo de la Tortura in Santillana del Mar.
