The property itself is beautiful. It definitely needs some upgrades. There were areas that were very old and uncapped. The walls were paper, thin and we could even hear the next-door neighbor snoring one night.

Overall a great experience, but a few areas for improvement. Dining-no on line menus, difficult to determine what was available, where and when. Communication- took five tries to reach anyone to send for the shuttle to get back from Shelter Cove. Noise-there was a wedding one evening, the band was so loud, could not hear the phone or television, nor sleep

The beachfront was incredible and the lobby/dining area were nice too. My room wasn't the cleanest in the world. Dust in the bathroom and a few loose stands of hair by the shower which tells me it wasn't cleaned before my stay. Comfy bed and friendly staff. May give it another chance once I'm in the Hilton Head area again, but may look elsewhere first. The cleanliness (or lack thereof) in my room kinda turns me off
