OCEANFRONT. Our end unit 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is in Building C, unit 227 with direct views of ocean and pool. 250 yards to the beach. Sleeps 4-6 with queen bed, queen sleeper sofa and 2 bunks for children. Unit is on marsh side affording a quieter unit and view of the ocean and marsh. WEEKLY RENTALS 10% DISCOUNT. 3 HD flat screen TVs. (Living room, bedroom, balcony) DVD, WIFI, hairdryer and all linens and towels provided (beach towels are not provided). Fully stocked kitchen. KUREG and coffee maker.4-night required summer rentals. SNOWBIRDS-WINTER MONTHS NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY DISCOUNT 50%. Ten tennis courts with pro shop, pickle ball courts, oceanfront pool with bar/grille and deck seating, bike rental on property, children's playground, pay per use washers/dryers and other wonderful amenities. Our family had a great summer ending getaway to Hilton Head over Labor Day Weekend. Susan was an excellent communicator and great host. We enjoyed the ocean view and close proximity to the beach and pool. We enjoyed the complex as there are a couple dining options which helped us maximize our beach and pool time!!

Relaxing

This was my first vacation without my husband. It would have been our 38th anniversary. In the past, we had stayed at the resort. This condo being on the end gave more privacy. I loved being able to sit on the balcony and just stare at the ocen. The owner was very kind and stayed in contact whenever I needed something. I hope too go back again.

It was a busy time for check-in, then all of a sudden our anxiety had vanished… We had found our home away from home. This is one of the finest properties on the island and the host is honestly great. We are so thankful for Susan providing everything needed to relax and connect

Loved the location of the room. Close to the best things at Beach and Tennis (pool/beach). Susan the host was more than accommodating for our family. Week at the beach

The condo itself was clean ! I knew it didn't have a dishwasher however need to note there is no oven. Messaged agent a few times and she was very responsive. I selected this unit for its location near the pool however the one elevator for the building was at the opposite end of the building. If I was aware of this, I would not have picked this unit. Those stairs to the 2nd floor were a dog to climb several times a day in the heat. I would add the mattress was HORRIBLE. It's almost like it had a dip in the middle. Once you got in the bed you could not move around well at all. The agent offered us an extra night for our troubles, but we left on check out day because we just couldn't take the stairs or the mattress any longer. The unit is super small good for 2 but not any more than that. Unfortunately, due to the elevator location, stairs & mattress we won't rent this one again.

Great location and condo!

Great place for our first visit to HHI for the 2 of us. Comfortable condo with everything we needed. Morning coffee on the balcony and watched the sun and wildlife visitors. Walk to beach and quick drive to good restaurants. Host quickly answered any questions. Would visit again.

Cozy Beach Get-Away

Our family loved the area! The condo was clean and just as described. Our kids loved the bunk beds and our teen was comfy on the couch (the pullout couch wasn't really for 2 people so she was glad it was all hers). Having the pool and beach so close made it super convienent with kids who needed breaks from the sun. The condo had a beautiful view of the water. We were even able to use the coin laundry and go home with all clean clothes! The condo was cozy and a little small, but just what this Michigan family of 5 needed for a week away.

Our stay was fantastic. A small hiccup when we arrived, but Susan responded immediately and it was taken care of with no delay. Which was a huge relief to know if any other issues were to arise, which they didn't, it wouldnt be a problem getting them resolved. Kitchen had everything we needed and more!

Book based on Location, Location! Plus some Helpful Tips

We've stayed at this resort 3 prior times, and this is the first time we have stayed at this specific unit. Usually, our family stays at Admiral's Row location in the same resort, next to the smaller pool, but this time, we opted for this OCEANFRONT unit. Boy are we happy we did! It was a perfect location for our 9 yo twins! Close to the bigger pool, a just a 1 min walk from the ocean. Y'all, it really is SO CLOSE to the beach. This was MUST HAVE for our family. The property was as described, and I will add some observations I had of the unit in the event it is helpful for others: 1) There is no dishwasher. We knew this coming in, so we brought a new sponge and dish soap. This was all provided by the host, but we are particular about our dishes. So we rewashed everything before we used any of the dishes. 2) The laundry facilities uses a "Money Card" that you have to fill up at the main office at a vending machine wall unit. It's $3 to purchase the card, and $3 per wash and per dry. I brought $20 in quarters thinking I could use that, but instead had to use $1s because the machine does not make change, and while it advertises taking credit card, none of my cards were accepted. Once you have the card, the laundry facilities are great and close by. We left our card on the counter, so the next renter didn't have to buy a new card. If you are hesitating to rent, don't. This place is worth the value and you will love listening to the beach waves!
