The property itself is on a lovely spot. The views are to die, for it is easily walkable to all the historical aspects of Philadelphia. The only downsides were the incredible amounts of construction, which, obviously the hotel cannot control. There were several homeless who would be in the area and come into the hotel which unsettled our kids. The hotel was very kind to them and ask them to leave the lobby. We specifically booked this hotel because it had a pool on property. However, the pool was only 3 feet deep so it was a little lackluster, but our kids had fun anyway. The staff was delightful and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a nice view of the Delaware river. They are doing a lot of construction around there. The room was nice but they didn't clean out the refrigerator. The restaurant was very good and the service was extremely good.

Penn’s Landing

I came into town to do a scenic water cruise for Micky Dolenz. The hotel was within walking distance and this was a big plus because I wanted to be able to have a drink and not worry.

Our room never cooled off to where we were comfortable at night. We couldn’t even cover up at night our room was so warm. We even had the thermostat turned down to 60 but the air was never cold coming out of the vent. And numerous times throughout our stay our whole room would smell like marijuana. It was obviously coming through the vents. I even called the front desk bc I didn’t want them thinking it was us. They sent up security and he was floored how bad our room smelled. It is ridiculous you pay to stay somewhere and you don’t smoke but have to smell it the entire time. I actually have an allergy to smoke and had to take pills to keep from getting a migraine. Also very stingy with towels. We had to ask for towels every day. Even when they cleaned the room they only left us 2 towels.

Hôtel très bien situé. Assez propre bien que les piscine aurait pu l’être un peu plus. Le service était courtois et attentionné - nous avons manqué de rien, mais il a fallu le demander (serviette, machine à café, notamment). Le stationnement n’est pas donné, comme dans la majorité des hotels à Philadelphie.
