Appleloft Suite in 17th century Farmhouse
Our Appleloft Suite is the cosiest of our accommodation set in the 17th century farmhouse. It has oak beams and massively thick cob walls. The bedroom is huge and can easily accommodation the super king bed plus up to two additional single beds (or cot). The bedroom can optionally be arranged as a twin room. In the lounge/dining room there’s a double sofa bed, dining table & chairs and flat screen TV & DVD player. The free WIFI means you can stream your own media and even work while holidaying with the rest of the family.
Located on the first floor of the main house, the Appleloft suite has private access via outdoor steps and has its own kitchen (fully equipped with an Aga cooker, microwave, fridge, pans, crockery and cutlery. Guests have the use of the old scullery and a communal indoor dining area in our conservatory if you prefer not to use the dining facilities in the suite. In addition there is a dedicated picnic bench and mini BBQ. The Apple Loft suite has a parking space 25m from the accommodation.
The windows of the suite overlook the valley, gardens and the woodland beyond. Why not try your hand in the rowing boat on the pond? Alternatively, explore our 8 acres of woodland, meadows, stream and lakes on site. Right next door is Dunsland National Trust & Forestry Commission with 200 acres of parkland and woods.
