The Snug is surrounded by lovely gardens and is a perfect location for both relaxing winter escapes and summer beach holidays, with wonderful sandy beaches and rocky coves including the magnificent beach at Trearddur Bay being nearby. Dotted with pre-historic monuments and the entire coastline named as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Anglesey is ideal for bird watchers, walkers and cyclists. There are golf courses close by and the Snowdonia National Park, where there is something for everyone to be enjoyed. Medieval Beaurmaris Castle, Plas Newydd National Trust House and Gardens, South Stack Lighthouse and the Port of Holyhead for day trips to Dublin are all nearby.
