The room is spacious and I love how retro it is with decorations/microwave etc. The restaurant and coffee cart right there are amazing quality. Really the best feature is the beach trail down to Bishop’s Beach!

Great location near the waterfront, easy to find and access. Disappointed that there are cheep blinds on the window that doesn’t block out the light when the summer daylight is an issue. Our room also needs a shower head.

Booked through Expedia and paid extra for a balcony with ocean view. I suppose we could see the ocean, but they first put us in a handicapped room and said I’d “booked that,” I hadn’t. And begrudgingly moved us to another room, still not with the view I paid extra for. Very disappointed. The worst part of the trip by far. There are other hotels….
No curtains so no way to block the late light at night (summer in Alaska)
The door didn’t fit quite right.
My “ocean view” is there over that wall between the balcony and the ocean.

Stayed just one night but my partner and I really enjoyed the stay. Staff was really nice and we really appreciated being upgraded to a room closer to the beach view. The room was clean and cozy and the view from it was amazing. We only had a slight issue with not getting anything to play on the TV, seemed like a signal issue but nothing we stressed about. We look forward to staying here in the future.

The owner here is very friendly and more than accomodating. When we needed to check out a day early even after taking a shower after the room had been clean, she gave a complete refund. The room was exceptionally clean and the view beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want the best view of the ocean, you must book a room in the lowest building. Other buildings have a view of the water partially obstructed by other buildings. Still a great view—you can see the mountains on the other side of the peninsula—but not quite what is pictured.

This was a very clean hotel close to Homer. The property was a little out dated but still very quiet and clean and had wonderful views. Laundry was convenient to do as well and the staff was very nice

Jill and Mike provide guests with clean rooms, very comfortable beds, good coffee, and close to the Homer Spit. We were fortunate to have an incredible view from our room. Please note all the beautiful art in the room with artists I recognized. We would highly recommend Ocean Shores!
