Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins - Cabin #1

Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins offers five charming Northern Michigan cabins nestled along the picturesque Platte River. Located on US-31, our cabins provide easy access to stunning natural scenery and water activities.

Each cabin is heated and available for year-round rental. They come equipped with a kitchen stocked with basic cooking and dining utensils, a living room, and a full bathroom. Enjoy modern amenities like Wi-Fi and a television with live streaming options, including Hulu and Disney+. Cabin #1 features a TV in the bedroom, while the other cabins have theirs in the living rooms. Cabin #3 boasts a cozy electric fireplace. All cabins are equipped with private charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). While there’s no air conditioning, portable fans are available during the summer.

Cabin Details:

Cabin #1: The largest, all-in-one unit that accommodates the most guests.
Cabins #2 & #3: Private units in a duplex setting.
Cabins #4 & #5: Also private duplex units, with Cabin #5 offering the most shade and seclusion.

We are dog-friendly and allow up to two dogs per reservation (no other pets permitted). If you plan to bring your furry friends, please ensure they are included in your reservation to apply the pet fee correctly.

The river offers a variety of recreational opportunities! While the current can be strong, the shallow water is perfect for wading and refreshing dips. You can also fish, kayak, or canoe directly from the property. Parents should supervise children closely, as the current can be swift.

Cute and cozy place. Using to just sleep at as rest of family was camping at Platte River campground. Needed to use futon for a third adult which wasn’t the most comfortable. Shower was small.

Magical

My friends and I decided to have a mini staycation. I found this spot last minute and was so excited to enjoy the beautiful property. Check in was so easy and Renee was very kind and helpful. We had our dogs with us and they loved playing in the river. Just beware the current is strong. We had them on leashes at all times to make sure they didn’t float away. The bonfire area was perfect, right by the river where you can hear the water and see fireflies all around you! The beds were very clean and comfortable which made for a great slumber. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Perfect spot for a summer getaway, this cabin is right across the river from a tiki bar that serves the best burgers and fries around, a couple miles from sleeping bear dunes, and you can grill on the property if you want. I’ll be back!

Crystal ski trip
