Newly renovated, this spacious four bedroom, three bathroom home is yours to enjoy central Pennsylvania in comfort. The drive to Beaver Stadium and the Pennsylvania State University is just 25 minutes, and it's less than 5 minutes to Bald Eagle State Park. Nestled near the lake, opportunities for swimming, bird watching, fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing, hunting, and boating are moments away.

Light-filled and roomy, this property provides space to stretch out, relax, and make yourself at home. The newly renovated Lions' Lake House affords modern comforts while maintaining elements of its nearly 150-year-old charm. You'll find new carpets, flooring, central air, and fast Wifi, alongside original and lovingly refinished details.

The front door opens to an open living room where guests can gather to enjoy conversation. The room offers a writing desk/workspace, sitting areas, and an antique 19th-century piano. Double French doors lead to a den with a full-size billiards table, dart board, karaoke machine, vintage record player, TV and a comfy sofa bed. The airy, informal dining room has a large table, seating 8 comfortably. The sunny kitchen has a full-size refrigerator along with new electric range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, and a coffee maker. A full bathroom with a stacked washer/dryer completes the first level.

There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs, along with an open loft/common area.
This loft at the top of the main stairs offers a day bed with trundle, TV, wii game console, games and toys, and cozy spot for reading.

Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, sitting area with a rocking chair, a TV, desk, and en suite bath. A "secret" set of stairs from this master bed leads back down to the dining room... perfect for a midnight snack!

Bedroom #2 has a double bed and a reading chair, and is filled with natural light.

Bedroom #3 has a queen bed with mountain views, a TV, large closet, sitting area and desk.

Bedroom #4 has twin bunk beds, plus a double bed with a closet.

A bath off the common area upstairs offers a combination bathtub/shower, and a double sink vanity.

Outside, guests can enjoy the 5-person Sundance spa/hot tub. The large, private yard offers plenty of space for lawn games, outdoor dining, and a firepit. There is also a propane grill, a tire swing, and a "kids clubhouse" with toys, desks, and many treasures.

This spacious home is perfect for families, and is within walking distance to the lake, two local restaurants, a convenience store, a bait shop, a basketball court, and several playgrounds.

The entire home, kids clubhouse, and outdoor space is yours to enjoy. Garages, attic and basement are not accessible for guests.

The house was great. There was six kids and five adults and we all slept comfortably. The house was clean, the pool table was fun, and there was lots of games. The host had welcome gifts for us and it was very accommodating. The lake is only 100 yards way up the hill, and we can’t wait to come back. Oh yeah, great pizza joint right down the street. Exactly what our extended family needed!

Our multigenerational family loved this family friendly home with plenty of beds, clean linens, and space to be together. The house was a great location, close to the lake where we took our boat. The hosts thought of everything we would need to enjoy our trip along with special extras like a basket of snacks that our young adults enjoyed. We can't wait to return!

This place has everything.

Close to nature, lots of cozy beds, all the amenities you could want. We ended up cooking in and had everything we could need. Plenty of space, bathrooms, etc. Great record collection. Hot tub. Warm hosts who provided lots of goodies and were extremely responsive. Great value.

Fabulous Family Fun

Family members, and I stayed in this lovely house for the Penn State graduation, and Masters Ceremony of my youngest child (also, the youngest grandchild) Our gracious hosts, John & Brennen were BEYOND fabulous! The home is spacious, clean, with many cool amenities. If you're in need of a place in PA (with more comforts than a hotel) I would highly recommend this property. The thoughtful owners provide even the smallest of details for your convenience & enjoyment!

Excellent house and such a welcoming host!

The residence was perfect for a large group of family members to stay on a PSU football weekend. Host had the house very will cleaned and even added some cute touches with little welcome gifts. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone interested.

Wonderful hospitality

The owners went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed and pampered! From the s’mores fixings to the basket of snacks to the cold drinks to the drawer of medicines (Just in case) to the arts and crafts supplies for the kids, they really thought of everything! This home is so lovely. The owners truly thought of everything and added such wonderful touches to everything. We had everything we needed. Perfectly stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Great Spot for Family Vacation

This was the perfect home away from home. The home is well setup and offers different areas to relax. The pool table was a big hit as well. The hosts are very responsive and replaced a few things that weren’t working properly when we arrived. The area around Bald Eagle State Park and State College is beautiful with a decent amount of stuff to do. Would definitely recommend this property for small to medium sized family get togethers. Overall a great house with great hosts.
