Great Value hotel and exceptional quality

Booked the Cedar Court in Huddersfield as it was half the price of one of the well known national competitors (starts with a P and ends with Inn), and thought I would take a chance. I needn't have worried it was just as good (if not better than the national chain and its a local hotel group as well !), couldn't have asked for anything more, lovely room, great staff, exceptionally clean and well presented. Breakfast was great value as well. My wife and I went to the Piece Hall for a gig and a short taxi journey to the centre was no hassle. Will definately stay here again without hesitation and save the money for another gig !

The staff were great and the food good. There was a lovely garden area we could have drinks in. There was no decent decaffeinated coffee for breakfast only nasty instant. Why? Our room was nice but there as no air conditioning and the windows were high up so we had to stand in a chair to open them. One didn’t open. It’s not healthy not to be able to have fresh air in a room.

Lovely Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Court Huddersfield. We booked a three night stay and ended up booking an extra night. The food was lovely, compliments to the chef There was nothing we could fault. All the staff were lovely, the rooms are spacious and spotless. Abi who was on reception was very helpful. We will definitely stay there again in the near future..

Easy to locate and about 4.5 miles from venue of Doctor's conference Was instructed by assistant receptionist to check in on-line while she stood by and chatted with other guests. Then again asked do my own car park reservation while the receptionist took details of the car of another guest who was checking in no room service food in the morning! Appalling attitude of receptionist. She said at 9am that she was too busy send any food to the room from the room service menu (24 hours)

My family came for my nephew's graduation, we only booked for one night here in a total of three rooms. From checking in to getting to my room and having a drink in the bar was all lovely. Would l stay here again absolutely 😃

A lovely hotel with paved and grassed outdoor areas, a lovely foyer working space and there most welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Note that the car parking is chargeable at £4 for 24 hours

Not ideal

We have a corporate special rate with newly refurbed rooms, free parking and breakfast. Tried to book but was told it was full. Booked online through Hotels.com paid a lot more, arrived and was given an old basic room. Complained but no other rooms available. Considering I paid more they could have kept a better room available
