A pleasant stay

Location is right in the middle of the Tourist hub/walking street, but it is quiet enough. The location is quite convenient to walk to the Dong Ba market, Truong Tien bridge... Hotel staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is provided (typical Vietnamese dishes such as Bun or Pho) The room is not very spacious though.

Quiet and a 30 second walk to a very busy street. Good location. Lots of food and cafe places. 2 minute alk to an amazing banh mi kiosk at 27 Nguyen Cong Tru, and vo thi sau Small eoom but clean and cozy.

Great find in Hue centre with comfy bed

Cherry Hotel is exactly as the tag line says ‘Cosy like your home’. The rooms were a good size with a comfortable mattress and down feather duvet. The shower had a good pressure which held its heat and all areas of the room were super clean. There was a choice of Asian or western food for breakfast including banana pancakes :-). The rooftop cafe wasn’t open when we were there but I reckon a beer up there would’ve been lovely. The reception staff were all super helpful and didn’t push tours on us. Upon arrival they sat with us to explain where things were in the city. Overall if you’re starting in Hue, stay here, you won’t be disappointed

Comfy stay, good location and friendly staff.

We booked the Cherry Hotel for two nights when we visited Hue. The bed was comfy and soft which can be a rarity in Vietnam. The room was clean aside from a used condom wrapping poking out from under the bed. Not sure how this missed as the rest of the room was spotless although there were quite a lot of flies oddly. There was a breakfast offered but we didn’t have it on either day. The hotel offered a trip to the Citadel / Imperials City for $35 each but we chose to do it ourselves, it took about 30 minutes to walk from the hotel and we got a taxi back for approx $2. The staff at the hotel were friendly and we arranged an airport transfer through them for $15. There is a bus you can pick up nearby. Hotel is really well located and at night the local streets are closed to traffic which is a welcome break. Would stay here again if visiting Hue.

Amazing staff, lovely hotel

The staff were fantastic. The location was great too as it was easy to walk to The Citadel and some of our favourite places to eat too!

Much smaller room, TV, bathroom. No windows. Floor towel had dirty feet marks on it on arrival. Staff was awesome and very helpful. Minus the towel, the facilities were clean, modern. For the price, it's a decent value in a great location.

Better than expected for the price but, one big no

The hotel is pretty new, spotless clean, confortable beds and in general, everything is a lot better than what you expect for this price point. At this point I realized, Vietnam's hotel staff are always nice. Well, cherry hotel staff is even nicer. They are really good and helpful. It has however, one big let down for me, probably not that important for other people but, the fact that there is no separation between shower and the rest of the bathroom and is impossible not to get everything wet while showering and specially that the floor will get wet and remain wet pretty much all the time, is reason enough for me not to go back to Cherry hotel.

Hue's hidden gem.

The hotel is in an alley off the street where we overlooked the signage when we first arrived Hue. The pros are that it is not noisy at late hours since the streets may be packed with tourist on weekend nights and Vietnamese people love to honk. Service were great, breakfast was above average but limited and the room is comfortable. They do have tour options but it is cheaper to get a tour from agencies near to the hotel.

The hotel condition is really good, clean, comfy. the staff is friendly and very helpful. and believe me, during my small stay in Hué, the hotel is unfurtunatly what i've seen the most. stuck in it 30hours in a row because of the Typhoon.

Most comfortable beds in Vietnam

Most comfortable bed, pillow, sheets we had in 1 month in vietnam! It is a very new building, reception, and rooms so everything was in great condition. Brand new AC unit. Breakfast was buffet with western and Vietnamese options. We stayed 1 night here for $20 and then stayed in Hoi An the next 3 nights at a $65/night hotel. Cherry hotel was nicer for a far better price. I would definitely stay here again.

Service exceptionnel, très avenant. Ils nous ont arrangé une excursion privée en zone DMZ alignée avec nos besoins car il n’y avait plus de place avec aucun des tour operator offrant le DMZ pour la journée que nous voulions. Hotel localisé merveilleusement bien dans une ruelle tranquille et accès à plusieurs restaurants et pubs très variés et recommandés par Lonely planet et Trip Advisor Chambres très humide avec petites fourmis d’humidité, climatisation sans possibilité de chauffage donc impossible de couper l'humidité... avec 3 jours de pluie diluvienne c’était pas agréable car impossible de faire sécher quoique ce soit. Déjeuner à retravailler car pas mal froids, mais nous étions très peu à séjourner dans l’hôtel à ces dates quand il y a plus de gens ils servent un buffet qui doit être ok..
