For nature lovers, the adjacent open fields and the coast in the distance attract a variety of wild and bird life and skeins of pink footed geese pass overhead in the winter months, which is truly magical.

Castle Bungalow is located on the edge of the village, but it's only a short walk to some great places to eat - you really are spoilt for choice! The Coasthopper bus service runs regularly through the village and stops at all the coastal villages between Kings Lynn and Cromer if you feel like exploring further afield and want to leave the car behind. If you enjoy walking and/or birdwatching, the North Norfolk coastal path and Peddar's Way are on the doorstep, and Titchwell RSPB Reserve is only a short drive away. Thornham has its own beautiful wide expanse of sandy beach which is easily reached by foot and car.
