Great Place.

The location is great for walking places and there is a pretty good walking trail to follow. There are plenty of things to eat around without having to use a car. The pool is both inside and outside with the option to swim outside under a walk bridge.

This is an older hotel in a great location. Our room had the normal wear and tear of an older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. We stayed here because of the location and were easily able to walk to a concert at the amphitheater. I will definitely choose to stay here again if we are back in Huntsville.

What i didn't like was that I stayed on vip 5th floor. Didn't know and wasn't explained I had special things to do in that floor so I didn't use them. Wasn't told how to get to the floor so I rode up and down about 5times until another patron told me I had to use my key to get there. Didn't know about the bar until Fri on the fifth floor so I didn't use it because it's not open. You mentioned welcome gift didn't receive one. . I don't know if this hotel is use to fam reunions but there were two reunions and that would be loud and an employee came to make us quiet and wanted us to leave the lobby this is what family is about. Maybe you shouldnt host two reunions at the same time.

We paid for a king room and they gave us double suite and refused to pay Expedia back the difference. So we can recoup what was over paid. Also if you get late checkout you will still have your door knocked on every hour starting at 8am even though 8 am isn’t even normal checkout time. This is unacceptable.

Great location and staff

Staff was kind and efficient. Bed was comfortable and clean. Location is amazing sharing a parking lot with Trader Joe’s, coffee shop, REI, Dave and busters, climbing activity, Top Golf. Perfect 1/4 mile walk to Orion Amp on a paved nice sidewalk. The room needs some attention. Peeling wallpaper, new paint needed. The most obnoxious thing in the room is there is no light filtering curtain. There is a decorative blind on the window that leaves a 1-2” gap for all the sunlight to come through before 6am. A curtain is 100% needed.
