Basic but very clean and comfortable accomodations. Quiet, waterfront family cottages close to town and restaurants, grocery stores etc. Communication was excellent. Would stay again!

We had a great experience at the Honeymoon cabin at Tally Ho Inn. The water access was great, the water was nice and warm. The staff was friendly and check-in and out was smooth. The off-leash dog park on the grounds was a welcome bonus. Only drawback was I did not like the pet fee of $30 per pet after booking. This fee was not listed up front and felt like a hidden cost. Otherwise 10/10

Poorly maintained cottage. Very dirty inside. Bad smell. Holes in the screens, cracked window, goose droppings all over the property. No chairs on the beach, only one outside the cottage. Terribly expensive for what it is.

Also stingy about amenities: charges for barbecue tools? Ridiculous! Our cabin didn’t even have any glasses - not a single one! No ice in ice tray. No knives, forks, spoons, plates. Those should be minimal but standard. Also terrible furniture, broken screen door, - a simple paint job on entrance door area and a modest attention to aesthetics would be nice. There is a difference between charmingly rustic and just plain junky. Cheap and simple is different from garbage.

Budget and family friendly

Overall, the room we stayed in was pretty average. Clean linen and kitchenette. The bathroom was ok, but the hook behind the bathroom door was coming off (no other place to hang wet towels). The bedroom was somewhat clean but there were corners that were dusty and we found hair and dust balls under the beds. The staff were super friendly and great at communicating. I think the cabins could do with a new coat of paint and some cleaning on the decks. Should this and the dust (under the bed) be dealt with, I would rate this from average to good.
