Room was spacious, modern and clean. Fantastic & friendly daily house keeping service by Omar in block 6. The Maître d'hôtel, Mohammed provided excellent service to our family each time we came to eat at the restaurant. We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. My sister and my two nieces. Great facilities for kids by the way. Overall the pools were great, ambience of the hotel at night was nice, the beach was incredible and had a really great snorkelling spot. Food choices were good. I felt that some of the tours & spa prices sold at the resort were expensive. My sister expressed that sometimes she felt interrupted by the staff trying to sell tours and approach her when she is trying to relax at the beach. The hotel was packed with tourists, mainly from Russia and Europe. Some occasions, I felt a little out of place as an english speaking Aussie and did not come across any other native english speaking guests during my stay. A lot of the staff spoke fluent German or Russian but struggled with english I found. I had a private driver (not related to hotel services) from Luxor to the hotel and on arrival I noticed he got out of the car and walked to the security hut. I queried it and my driver told me he had to pay the security guard 100 EGP baksheesh just to be able to enter and drop me off at reception. I felt bad so I reimbursed my driver for the baksheesh. I was not happy about this treatment upon arrival at Prima Life Makadi. disappointing.

We arrived on October 18th around 1 PM and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Assem, one of the most professional and respectful people you could ever meet. He helped us with an upgrade to our rooms, and while waiting for them to be ready, we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, honestly above expectations. 🏖️ Facilities: • Pool: Big, clean, and very nice. • Aqua Park: Unfortunately, there’s barely one — just two small slides, nothing more. • Beach: Absolutely beautiful! You can see amazing fish and coral reefs. The beginning of the beach is sandy, and as you go deeper, you’ll find stunning coral areas — perfect for snorkeling. 🍽️ Food: • Savory food: Honestly, very tasty and varied, both for lunch and dinner. ⭐️ Rating: 9/10 • Desserts: This was the weakest part of the hotel. Most desserts weren’t good at all, and definitely not at the same level as the main food. Only one night they served special desserts that were nice. ⭐️ Rating: 2/10 Special thanks to Chef Gaber, who makes the best pizza by the beach during lunchtime — it’s really delicious! There’s also freshly made Egyptian feteer by the beach, which tastes great too. Animation Team: The animation team was friendly, active, and made the atmosphere very enjoyable. Overall, Prima Life Makadi is a lovely hotel with great food, friendly staff, and a beautiful beach — just needs improvement in the dessert section and aqua park.

Overall a nice hotel! We had the best sea view room - it was spacious, clean and AC worked well. The shower was weak, especially in the evenings when everyone is back from the pool and beach to shower at the same time. Buffet food wasn't great but the A La Carte restaurants were much better. Lots of food and drink options, so for all inclusive it's a good deal. Location was right on the beach and we saw lots of fish and coral in the sea. Lots of the staff around the resort don't speak English well so getting correct information was sometimes difficult.

The hotel was excellent for a 1 week chill out in February. The staff were accommodating and the excursions around the area were good and also very cheap. The pool was freezing so didn't dip at all but did swim in the sea once or twice

My wife & I have just returned from our 10 night stay in Prima Life where I celebrated my 60th. My honest opinion of our stay is, I would consider this more a 4* hotel. Although the rooms were lovely they were not as I would expect as a 5* hotel. The rooms were clean and I opt for a sea view with balcony which was nice. Room cleaning was excellent and our room cleaner Ali was fantastic and did a great job. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay but we did get hounded by one of the staff members trying to sell us a candle light dinner & exclusive dinner every day even though I had already booked this ahead with Expedia but he made out I was not telling the truth. The overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel. The hotel has got some entertainment and some that is paid for. The trip with Tito’s to Make a wish (Magawish) island was worth every penny and would highly recommend it. It’s an all day trip with snorkeling and a stop to a lovely island, great scenery of pictures. If your traveling take Dollars and you do need a Visa purchased on arrival or online ahead. No credit cards accepted at the airport although you can withdraw money but the exchange rate isn’t great.

Our stay was amazing. The only thing is that the food buffet needs enhancement. Better and wider variety of food needed. The room bedding mattress or pillows needs improvement. The mattress wasn’t the best and the pillows were so soft. We asked for better pillows but we got similar ones to the ones we have. Other than that our stay was impeccable.

Prima Life Makadi - an excellent stay

This hotel was a 10/10 for me. i booked for my partners 30th birthday as a present and it completely met my expectations. All staff are welcoming and friendly at the resort, from reception, cleaning staff, hospitality, animation team, security etc. they try and help you with any queries you may have from the moment you check-in. this hotel also has its own private beach and a huge central pool which runs down the centre of the resort, with a swim up bar and different areas of depths depending on your preference. The beach is decked with complimentary sunbeds / umbrellas with toilets nearby. we never struggled to get a sunbed, you dont have to put yout towel out early and have a variety of options to sit by the pool. there are also a few outdoor bars which serve food and drink in close proximity to both the pool and beach front. The rooms are also incredibly spacious, i booked a standard room and you can see from the image below how large the bed is + all the additional floor space. the buffet restaurant also swaps up a theme each night (Egyptian, Italian etc) so theres loads of variety + 4 al a carte restaurants to choose from. the hotel itself is further away from any amenities, its 30mins from Hurghada centre but the hotel does run evening shuttles for a marginal price (7 euros approx). they also run their own excursions from the lobby

Really, everything was excellent from the moment my family and I entered the reception until we left the hotel. The staff were good, understanding, and very friendly. This is my 7th year here, and I can’t describe how happy I am with the warm reception, the cleanliness of the rooms, the swimming pool, the beach, and the sea. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Mr. Abo ElKhair, Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Ashraf, and Mr. Mohammed, as well as all the hotel managers for their outstanding service.
