Pros: Check in was easy. Our cabin was simple and clean. Functional but nothing fancy. The grounds are nice and I am sure that is what appeals to most people.
The bunk bed mattresses at our small cabin (Cabin 17) and the bunk bed at my sister's family cabin (Large Cabin 64) had mattresses where your could clearly feel the springs. We did not use them and my daughter ended up sharing my King sized bed with me. My sister slept on the couch the second night on the couch. This made booking a room with bunkbeds pretty useless. There is zero way you cannot see that these mattresses need to be changed. Our mattress, by comparison, was soft and squishy. The morning of our departure I was woken up at 7:30 am by two women that were sitting on our porch talking. They had put a sticker on the door of our cabin for another group. It was not cool and if the management encourages big groups to do things like that, its bad customer service. When I asked if I could help them, they said "Oh we are staying here at 3pm," It was 7:30 am.
I liked the feel of the place but not its scratchy towels. The place is generally quiet but the walls are thin enough that I heard my neighbor snoring. I'd upgrade to the cabins and bring my own towels next time.
I love this property. I love the updated facilities and how beautiful everything is. My ONLY issue with this place is the beds. Unfortunately, SOME of the rooms have outdated beds that are terribly sunken in and painfully uncomfortable. Everything else is amazing.
I don’t usually write reviews but this property deserves a fantastic review! It was quiet, serene, but at the same time, plenty of grounds to explore and activities to partake in. The on site restaurant called The Peak, had great service, food and drinks. I believe our stay would be excellent any time of the year! We are looking forward to our frequent return!!! Thank you!
Charming intimate and absolutely meditative !
Amazing staff well kept property and a pleasant surprise! I never thought it would be this inviting!!! Without a doubt I highly recommend!!!!
My husband, our dog and I enjoyed our stay. We open the door to our cabin and we were very mesmerized. Love our room very clean, comfortable, and cool. Our dog usually is very anxious in new places, but for some reason he was very peaceful and calm. The front dest was very helpful, very nice. Can't wait for our next visit.
