All that glitters ???

Property looked as if renervation has started but nowhere near finished. Door on upper floor bedroom couldn't be closed as the catch was missing just a space where it used to be. Door on upper floor bathroom wouldn't close - too tight a fit so couldn't be locked - no privacy. Difficulty shutting and locking rear french windows didn't feel very secure. TV remote didn't work. Tried changing the batteries but no success. When we reported were told others had made same comments but it still wasn't sorted. Only one bath towel per person and one hand towel between two people for the whole week. When requested more told to wash them ourselves as there was a washing machine in the kitchen. Eventually got some extras but they didn't smell very fresh. One smelled disgusting and was badly stained. So ended up having to wash them anyway. Didn't go on holiday to do the washing. When complained told they had come straight from the launderette so couldn't be a problem !!!. Not impressed! No full length mirrors in the bedrooms not a single one in the whole house. Positives: Extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Very comfortable beds and lounge area. Shame, lovely property that could be stunning.
