Room was very spacious although possibly due to it being a handicap accessible room but although possibly not. I really can’t say without seeing a standard room but it was very spacious even for a HC accessible room. Shower was very slippery. Almost fell more than once. Informed front desk. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was lacking. No eggs at all. It just seemed a bit underwhelming but what I ate was good. No microwave in the room but there is one available to use in the breakfast area even outside of breakfast hours. Price wise…..not really relevant. . It was Indy 500 weekend so prices are “adjusted” just like is done for big events in most cities. Price wasn’t out of line with similar hotels in the area. Overall I felt welcome. Staff was helpful and warm. Even with the negatives this hotel is on my list of acceptable hotels in the area for future use.

Each year I make several trips to the Indianapolis area from Phoenix. I always stay in a hotel. The Hyatt in Carmel was a great place to stay. The accommodations, staff and amenities were outstanding. I shared with the front desk when I departed that I plan to stay at the Hyatt on future trips to the Indianapolis area.
