Work trip to Inverness

Lovely hotel situated on the side of the river and a short walk to the centre of Inverness. The hotel was lovely, staff very polite and helpful and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable especially the bed.

The hotel was located just a block or so away from the core shopping and site-seeing district. It was very close to the River Ness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed a meal and drinks from the restaurant one evening after a day of sight-seeing. The food and drinks were very good. Overall, a very easy and pleasant experience from start to end.

Really appreciated the amenities at this hotel- including washcloths for us Americans (they’re not a thing in Scotland). I didn’t have the best luck with the food in the restaurant, however, the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Room was a hog pig of furnishings like a sofa blocking the closet no drawers for unpacking Only one towel in the room upon are but I asked and got more. No refrigerator which was an issue for us. Only able to reach room service by WhatsApp and still had to wait and repeat the requests. No dining except a bar and bar menu

This is a modern property located right on the river ness. Very close to many eateries and bars in this lovely town, spacious rooms with terrific breakfast, highly recommend for stay in the Highlands.

I had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel Inverness! The location couldn’t be better — right by the River Ness and just an 8–9 minute walk from both the city centre and the ScotRail station. It’s also just a short walk from most tour meeting points, making it an ideal base for exploring Inverness and the Highlands. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and well-presented options — a perfect start to the day. Though the rooms are compact, they’re spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Overall, a charming and convenient stay with great service and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended!
