This hotel is beautiful and our room view was stunning. However, there was a very bad smell coming from the toilet when we arrived. The staff was all wonderful, but the one thing we did not like is that we visibility saw our room ready and they would not permit us to go into the room until 3pm. They kept repeating that 3 pm was the checkin time, but even at 3 pm exactly they didn’t give us the room. It’s not easy to get to the island. You fly into Cancun, then drive for 2 hours and then you need to get a boat or ferry for another 20 minutes to get to the island. And they did not even try to give us our room a little bit earlier. We arrived around 1:30 pm. I have travelled to many places in the world and I have never seen a hotel not give earlier access to a room if it was ready. They kept saying that housekeeping wasn’t finished but we had a clear view of the room and the only thing that housekeeping did when she walked in was clean the door. This is why this hotel isn’t getting 5 stars.

This was such a magical space. It’s quaint and charming and the whole aesthetic of the hotel and beach club is so charming. The staff are absolutely incredible and I will recommend this place to everyone, even though I kind of want to keep it for myself. 10/10.

Property has a romantic vibe and great views of ocean. Room waa clean but I found setup to be inconvenient with all components of bathroom in separate location in room. Must leave the water closet and walk past bed to wash tour hands. No television and you have to walk road and wait for a taxi to come by. I left 2 days early as it rained and roads were flooded in spots. My room had a charge of 2 sodaa which i didn't charge. Hotel manager acted as if i waa lying. Until he learned we apoke spanish his tune changed. For 150 pesos. I tipped more than that and found it to be insulting. Probably one of the better hotels on island but not for me. Maybe i was expecting an island like Ibiza.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Muuch hotel and it was a fantastic experience. We initially booked for two nights with the sea view room and decided to stay an additional night. The front desk lady was able to accommodate us in the same Muuch building with another room for an additional night for the same rate. The service by the beach clubs were great and all the staff really took their time to take care of us. Rooms: the room we booked had an incredible view. It was very clean and designed very thoughtfully. The bathtub in the balcony was a really nice addition to use. The bed was super comfortable with all the extra pillows. There was hot and cold water with no interruptions. The AC in the room was working well. The coffee machine was great. The towels were clean. Overall the room was a great experience. Food: We had free breakfast included in our booking and went to the rooftop of the Muuch building. The breakfast menu was perfect. Fresh coffee, juice, ice cold water and high quality food prepared by executive chef Sebastian. Sebastian also created the menu at Fuego and Terra, which I would say are probably the best restaurants on the island. You get a combination of Mexican, Italian, Argentinian flavors which were delicious. Highly recommend you talk to the executive chef as he is kind, knowledgeable, respectful and passionate about his work. The man is talented at what he does. His team was also very professional and gave that “executive dining” experience.
