The first room we had was a horrible room for the money spent. They were very reasonable and switched me rooms no problem! The staff was super friendly and the whole hotel was just beautiful and well layed out. The food was unbelievable! Especially from Toro. One of the best steaks ive had the chance to eat. It was off-season so it was pretty quiet and relaxing in the hotel. Not bumping into people which was nice. The actual hotel staff was very friendly, but when it came to the people attempting to make you sign up for some vacation plan and asking you for over 3gs, making you sit in some very uncomfortable meeting with them while they try and convince you to pay them money, things got wierd and they were very rude. Kind of got a little overboard towards the end, but when they bring in about 5 different people trying different tactics i couldnt handle it anymore. But thankfully never got bothered again after that. Would definitely come back! Just hopefully they relax a bit on the sales tactics.

We stayed for four nights, and I will never return to this hotel again. The staff was so rude and unfriendly in the lobby, giving us attitude and speaking at us negatively several times throughout our stay. The poolside staff did not approach us at all to take orders and even turned their back when we tried to call them. They do not clean at all around the pool. We were a party of 12, so anytime we requested food to accommodate all of us, we were told no and to come back later. Similarly, in the restaurants, they did not want to sit us together, saying they don't accommodate big groups. The A/C in many areas of the hotel was very weak and in one of the restaurants was not working at all. They reported it will get fixed in a few days, but the heat and humidity made it very unbearable. The food was good, but many items at the buffet were not replaced once they ran out. Needless to say, my family and I will never be staying at any Hard Rock location again. It is a waste of money and ruined our vacation.

My husband and I upgraded to Rock Royalty Ocean View. We stayed on the 3rd Floor which is Adults Only with our own Bar Area, 2 pools, and a snack bar that was great! We also had our Concierge Jesus and Mitzi. They were AMAZING! They always had a special romantic surprise for us and tried to accommodate any request regarding the room. They went above and beyond with chocolate covered strawberries and presecco, a romantic tub soak set up, and also a romantic dinner as well. Turn down service and house keeping was amazing as well. The view was beautiful. No mold in the room at all and no musty smell. The food was a amazing lots of options. Tip...always be where ever you want to eat at 6 pm. Breakfast was nice at Frida but we ordered room service for breakfast the rest of the time because we wanted to snuggle. Transportion was easy to book though Expedia but when you get to the Airport it can be a little daunting leaving to find your transportation outside. Just keep asking where the company is. It took us about 20 minutes. But our driver was really nice. In fact everyone is so nice! Tip well you'll be treated like Royalty. Definitely will stay there again.
